Zimbabwe have named two uncapped players - pacer Carl Mumba and top-order batsman Tarisai Musakanda in the 16-men squad for the upcoming home tri-series against Sri Lanka and West Indies.
Among other key players returning to the squad after missing out on the home series against India in June are Brian Chari, Tinashe Panyangara and Chris Mpofu.
Mumba recently featured for Zimbabwe in the longer format of the game against Sri Lanka where he put up an impressive performance by bagging eight wickets from two games which includes four for 50 during the second innings of the first Harare Test.
Chari also was awarded for his impressive performance in the recently concluded second Test at Harare where the 24-year-old right-hand bat played a brilliant 80-run knock in the first innings.
Both Chari and 30-year-old right-arm pacer Chris Mpofu have played their last One-Day International game back in 2015.
Musakanda is yet to feature for his country in any international cricket match, however, the 22-year-old right-hand bat managed to impress the selectors with his performances against Pakistan A where he scored 216 runs at an average of 43.2 from five matches which included two fifties and a highest score of unbeaten 99.
Meanwhile, top-order batsman Vusi Sibanda was left out of the squad after failing to perform during the A tournament against Pakistan.
The tri-series begins from November 14, with the first game featuring Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka in Harare. The final will be played in Bulawayo on November 27.
