Gloucestershire County Cricket Club are pleased to announce that the beneficiary for the 2009 season will be Chris Taylor.
Chris has been a great asset since making his debut in 2000 and the Club are really pleased to offer him this opportunity. He has had many notable performances for the Club over the years including scoring a century in his debut match and contributed greatly to the Club’s One Day success in previous years as well as in a variety of other ways.
Chris adds: “I feel extremely proud and honoured to have been awarded a benefit year for 2009. It is a privilege to follow in the foot steps of some true Gloucestershire Legends and I would therefore like to thank all those at the club for this opportunity.”
Details of Chris Taylor’s Benefit Year activities will be announced at a later date but for more information see his article in the next issue of the Club magazine “No Boundaries”.
