Chris Taylor Catches Latest Thule Award

Thule, the world’s largest manufacturer of car roof rack systems, roof boxes and accessories has presented Gloucestershire County Cricket Club squad member, Chris Taylor, with this months Thule Player of the Month (POTM) Award.

Despite the Cheltenham Festival being rained off and all games being moved to the ground in Bristol, the 30 year-old has enjoyed a good month throughout July. Chris’ fielding in the twenty20 cup has been particularly outstanding, and a major contribution to the teams progression to finals day. He has also scored two championship hundreds, 112 no against Northants and 101 versus Essex, during the month. This was balanced with some great performances with the ball including his career best figures of 4 for 52 against Northants.

Thule, whose UK office is based in Clevedon, sponsor the Gloucestershire Player of the Month Award and Marketing Manager Peter Barker was on hand at the recent LVCC 2 match to present Chris with his award. Peter commented, “Chris has always performed well during the Cheltenham Festival period and he has recently had some fine performances with bat, ball and in the field. He is a valuable member of the GCCC squad and we wish him the best of luck for the rest of the season.”
