Australia captain Michael Clarke will make his return from injury when Australia take on Somerset in the first of two warm-up matches ahead of the Ashes.

He missed his country's Champions Trophy campaign with a back injury but has been passed fit to lead the side at Taunton from 26th June.

Australia then play Worcestershire before the opening Test begins at Trent Bridge on 10th July.

With Chris Rogers left out for the match, Ed Cowan and Shane Watson are expected to open while James Faulkner, Mitchell Starc, James Pattinson and Peter Siddle will lead the pace attack.

David Warner misses the match through suspension with Steve Smith and Ryan Harris also left out.
