Australia Women are confident ahead of their upcoming tour of India, where they will play three One-Day Internationals and five Twenty20 Internationals.

Having named an unchanged 14-member squad in February, the tour will serve as vital preparation ahead of the ICC Women's World Twenty20 later this year in Sri Lanka and the 2013 Women's World Cup, held in India.

The two teams last met in the One-Day International triangular series in England last summer, where Australia won a last-ball thriller by three wickets.

"We will be hoping to build on our recent success against New Zealand where we retained the Rose Bowl and claimed the T20 series," captain Jodie Fields said.

"The unchanged squad has a good mixture of youth and experience and the tour will provide an opportunity for the younger players in particular to gain important international experience and preparation for playing two big tournaments in the subcontinent.

"This tour will provide us with some vital match practice against some of the best women’s cricketers in the world as we continue our preparations to defend the ICC World Twenty20 title in September."

Australia Women: Jodie Fields (captain, wicket-keeper), Alex Blackwell (vice-captain), Jess Cameron, Sarah Coyte, Rachael Haynes, Alyssa Healy, Julie Hunter, Jessica Jonassen, Meg Lanning, Sharon Millanta, Erin Osborne, Ellyse Perry, Leah Poulton, Lisa Sthalekar.
