Left-arm spinner Dean Cosker has celebrated 15 years with Glamorgan by signing a new three-year contract that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2013 season.
Cosker, who took 53 first-class wickets in 2010, made his Glamorgan debut in 1996, going on to play for England Under-19s and touring twice with England A.
“It’s been a great week for the Cosker household, with the birth of my daughter and securing my future with Glamorgan- it was a real double whammy," Cosker told the club's official website (www.glamorgancricket.com).
“I have enjoyed 15 years with Glamorgan and it is still somewhere I am able to continue to achieve.
“Last season was my most successful taking 53 wickets and I really feel I’ve got more of the same to come. It’s a really nice environment to work in and I have great team mates who I can also call very close friends.”
Glamorgan have also confirmed that bowlers Huw Waters and Chris Ashling have also signed new contracts, following in the footsteps of James Harris, Tom Maynard and Robert Croft in having pledged their immediate futures to the club.
