Ajmal Shahzad and Jon Lewis have both appeared before an ECB disciplinary panel. Lewis was charged with making deliberate contact with an opposition player and pleaded guilty to the charge. He had already been awarded three penalty points and no further action was taken. Shahzad was charged with deliberately damaging the pitch during Yorkshire's match against Warwickshire. He pleaded guilty and received a severe reprimand and ordered to pay £750 costs.
Lancashire have fought off competition from Warwickshire and extended Gary Keedy's contract by two years.
