Craig White To Captain Yorkshire Seconds In 2009

Yorkshire's former England all-rounder Craig White has signed a new one-year deal at the club which will see him captain the second eleven in 2009.

White made his debut for Yorkshire in 1990 before playing 30 Tests and 51 One Day Internationals for England and is now playing a key role in bringing through Yorkshire's younger players.

"I am really pleased to sign for another year," he said. "I enjoyed looking after the 2nds this season tremendously and I think they need a senior figure to learn from, support them and help them along the way. I am really looking forward to continuing in that role next year."
