England are 6/5 favourites with Paddy Power for victory in the Third Test against India tomorrow and wrap up the series – and status as the world’s number one Test team.

Despite India’s strong batting line-up their injury-ravaged bowling attack could struggle to hold back the dominant England batsmen and the tourists are 7/2 to fight back with a win, the draw being 11/8.

There is little to separate England's in-form batsmen with Ian Bell, expected to bat at number three on his home pitch of Edgbaston, 4/1 to top score for the Three Lions in the first innings and 9/2 for a first innings ton. Bell is currently joined on those prices by Cook, Pietersen and Strauss - despite the captain being short of runs so far in the series.

Stuart Broad is 10/1 for another match where he takes five wickets in an innings and scores a half century, although Paddy Power has reacted to the Nottinghamshire bowler’s form having taken a hit in the last game when offering the same market at 22/1. Similarly in form all-rounder Tim Bresnan is 16/1 for the same feat.

Darren Haines, spokesman for Paddy Power, and cricket betting expert, said: "Broad cost us a lumpy sum in the last Test and his form at the moment suggests he could well do so again. Similarly an inform Ian Bell could well make hay batting up the order at number three on his home soil of Edgbaston."

For India the great Sachin Tendulkar is 4/1 to finally land his 100th international century in the first innings of the match.
