Alastair Cook can break Sachin Tendulkar's records according to Ladbrokes.

After notching up his 23rd Test century he is now given a 10/1 chance to become the all time leading Test century maker and surpass Tendulkar's current standing of 51.

And with 7,000 international Test runs under his belt the England captain is almost half way there to take the title of the world's leading Test runscorer (8/1) away from that man again, Sachin Tendulkar.

Cook's also given an early quote of 7/1 to pick up next year's BBC Sports Personality of the Year award in anticipation of a successful summer during The Ashes where England have shortened up further to 4/7 to win the series.

Jessica Bridge, cricket betting expert at Ladbrokes said: "Cook's firing on all cylinders at the moment and with time on his side he's got a great chance of taking the records away from Tendulkar."
