England have been trimmed from 11/10 to even money to win the second test according to Ladbrokes.

The bookies report a reverse in punter sentiment in the absence of India bowler Zaheer Khan and it's the home side who are now backed following the gamble on the draw earlier in the week.

The stalemate was a 7/4 chance but now drifts to 2/1. India are 3/1 to level the series at one all.

India's top bowler market is now wide open leaving Sharma (5/2) and Kumar (11/4) the principles. Jimmy Anderson is England's most likely top wicket taker at 2/1 from Stuart Broad at 3/1.

Sachin Tendulkar is the 9/1 favourite for the man of the match award and he's the 7/2 joint favourite to be their top bat with Rahul Dravid.

Alex Donohue, cricket betting expert at Ladbrokes said: "The loss of Khan is a huge blow for India and the money reflects that. Anderson should get the ball swinging and will be a popular choice to be England's top wicket taker."
