England are out to Evens, from 10/11,  to win the first ODI on Friday as William Hill customers believe that England will be suffering a hangover from the loss of the Test series.  South Africa are 4/5 to win the first match and 11/10 to hit more sixes than England.

Hills offer 13/8 that a century is scored in the match by either side and Alastair Cook is 10/1 to be named man of the match.

"Despite having won ten successive ODIs this year and being ranked as the world number one ODI side, astonishingly, England are largely friendless," said Hill’s spokesman and cricket betting expert Rupert Adams.
