England are the shortest price they have been to win an India tour in the last ten years according to Ladbrokes.

The tourists currently trade as 11/8 outsiders as the bookies prepare a barrage of patriotic money to follow up their successful summer series against India who are 4/7 to level things up on home soil.

It's 4/6 India win the first test (6/5 England) and following the inclusion of Kevin Pietersen in the squad it's 7/4 he hits 50 and 2/1 he hits a six in the first ODI.

Alex Donohue, cricket betting expert at Ladbrokes said: "English cricket is on an upward curve at the moment and we give the tourists a huge chance in India. We've no doubt they will be all the rage with punters and as the odds suggest this could be a very tight series."
