England are the comfortable odds-on favourites for victory against the West Indies according to Ladbrokes.
Their first series of the summer gets under way on May 17th and at 1/6 England are favoured to bounce back from a miserable winter against outsiders West Indies (12/1).
The team are also odds-on (4/7) to win the first Test with the Windies a top industry price of 8/1. The draw can be backed at 2/1.
And as Andrew Strauss's captaincy duties came into question following poor performances against Pakistan and Sri Lanka, it's 9/2 his form returns by being England's top series runscorer.
Alec Stewart recently described England as having two of the best bowling attacks in the world and with Tim Bresnan (8/11) and Steve Finn fighting it out for the 4th spot, the firm favour the Yorkshireman over Middlesex's Finn at even money.
The inclusion of Jonny Bairstow looks like he'll make his debut in place of Ravi Bopara and he's chalked up at 10/1 to mark the momentous occasion by topping the first Test's runscorer board.
Cricket betting expert Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "The Windies have a huge task on their hands if they're to defy these odds. Hopefully the only thing that won't stop an England win is 15 days of solid rain."
