KEVIN PIETERSEN is 3/1 to be England's top series runscorer against India according to Ladbrokes.

Now that the so-called bad-boy of English cricket has been added into the squad for the Tour to India the firm chalk up the visitors as the 10/3 outsiders to win the series with the hosts favoured at 8/13.

India are 5/4 to take the first Test or it's a 7/2 chance that KP's inclusion sparks a revival in the England team and they get off to a flier at 7/2, and the man himself is just 5/2 to notch up a ton in the match. The draw is quoted at 11/8.

And Pietersen's also given an early quote of 8/1 to out-bat the likes of Ghambir, Tendulkar and Cook by being the top series runscorer.

Jessica Bridge, cricket betting expert at Ladbrokes said: "There was a stage this summer when we were convinced KP would never pull on the England whites again but we're happy to be proved wrong in this instance. With KP back in the frame England are a much shorter price to cause an upset, and punters are already getting stuck into their chances."
