Stan James believe England, despite their success in Durham yesterday, have no chance in the Champions Trophy which begins in South Africa tomorrow and will refund all losing bets

on the outright market placed prior to the first game if the Three Lions prevail. They will also pay out both teams as winners in the event of a tie on bets placed prior to the toss.

Head of PR Charlie McCann: "With West Indies in contractual turmoil and England not good enough the Champions Trophy is in effect a six-runner event with hosts South Africa our 5/2

favourites. Graeme Smith's side have flattered to deceive more than once however and they cannot afford the complacency which has led many to describe them as chokers in previous tournaments. We are betting 2/1 that England lose all three of their Group games (1/3 they win at least one) and 4/7 that we are eliminated at the first hurdle."
