The first of the Cricket World Cup Quarter Finals kicks off on Wednesday morning, with the West Indies taking on Pakistan. Pakistan are 8/15 to defeat the Windies who are 6/4. All of the early money is for Pakistan with bets of up to four figures being taken on Afridi’s men to progress to the semi finals.

"Pakistan will undoubtedly be very strong with the bat and it will be up to the Windies to try and match them - an outcome our punters seem to think unlikely," said Hill’s spokesman and cricket betting expert Joe Crilly.

Hills are also betting on who will be the four sides to make the semi finals, making Pakistan, India, South Africa and Sri Lanka the 9/2 favourite multiple.
