Australia take on Pakistan at the WACA tomorrow in the third ODI of the five match series. At one a piece it is difficult to separate these two teams and for the best cricket betting odds check these sites to shop the best odds before betting.
Australian coach Darren Lehmann has said that Victoria batsman Peter Handscomb will make his debut against Pakistan. Handscomb will bring some stability to the batting line up, playing four Test matches for Australia previously and has been impressive with 399 runs at an average close to 100. He has already scored two each of centuries and fifties in his short career.
The 25-year-old will take the place of Mitchell Marsh in the line-up after the Western Australian all-rounder suffered a shoulder injury during the second game against Pakistan in Melbourne.
Lehmann said Handscomb has earned his opportunity based on good performances in the Test series.
"He's done really well, he's been outstanding," said Lehmann.
"A good reward for a good summer. We want four quality batters going at the top, so he'll get his chance there ... That number four spot is there and Peter has done a really good job for us in the Test matches, so he gets another crack at it.
"He played a very good one-day sort of innings for us in the Sydney Test match, where we scored quite quickly. He's got all the shots and he's quite innovative. But if we lose early wickets he can consolidate from there."
Also returning to the playing squad will be Billy Stanlake, who will take the place of Mitchell Starc after the latter was rested.
Pakistan will remain unchanged and will go into the third ODI which great confidence after their convincing win over Australia in the second ODI.
On balance, I would favour an Australian win at the WACA with the Aussies bouncing back strongly after their 6 wicket defeat in Melbourne.
