Lancashire defeated Sussex late on Monday night to become the final side to qualify for the T20 finals day. Hills make Somerset the 15/8 favourites to win the T20 on August 27th, while Hampshire are 2/1. Lancashire are 3/1 and Leicestershire are 4/1.
On last year’s Finals day, Hampshire defeated Somerset with the last ball of the Final and Hills are offering 12/1 that either side wins their semi final with the final ball. Sri Lanka’s Ajantha Mendis made history by taking the first ever six wicket haul in a T20 international match against Australia and Hills are offering 14/1 that any player manages to equal (or better) that total on Finals day.
"Finals day is always very exciting and Hampshire and Somerset have history when it comes to nailbiters and with Mendis potentially lining up for Trescothick’s men, we could well see a number of wickets fall as well," said Hill’s cricket betting expert Joe Crilly.
