Bookmakers Ladbrokes believe Ashton Agar's incredible 98 on debut at Trent Bridge will see him move up the batting order for the second innings.
He came in to bat at number 11 with his side on 117 for nine, at which point England were 1/6 to win the match and Australia 4/1.
He proceded to hit 98 in 101 balls making anybody who bet on him at 33/1 to top score in the innings a happy punter.
He is now 11/8 to bat at number nine or higher in the order and 2/1 to bat at number 10 or 11.
Jessica Bridge, cricket betting expert at Ladbrokes said: "We knew he could bat and we're glad we kept him on side.
"It's not very often punters are cheering on an Aussie ton, but even on this occasion we'd have been happy to pay out on Agar's remarkable achievement."
