Cricketing legends including Curtly Ambrose and Derek Randall will be joined for the first time by a host of cricketing heroes from around the world at the 2009 Grenada Cricket Classics taking place from October 7-14, 2009.

The main cricketing highlights will be two Twenty20 matches in the National Stadium between a World XI made up of international cricketers from Australia, New Zealand, England and Ireland and rival teams from the West Indies, Grenada and Barbados.

Off the pitch the activities will include a beach side barbecue, dinner and night with former test cricketers hosting each table and a chance for fans to play in a cricket match with their sporting heroes.  The seven night trip also offers an opportunity for everyone to relax and enjoy Grenadian hospitality and all the island has to offer.

This year’s Classics promises to be the most exciting so far with the following players already signed up to travel to the Caribbean island of Grenada -  Curtly Ambrose, Richie Richardson, Allan Lamb, Stuart Law (Australia), Derek Randall, Devon Malcolm, Courtney Walsh, Andy Caddick, Lou Vincent (New Zealand), Ian Harvey (Australia).
