For the first time since 2007, Pakistan are travelling to India to take on their biggest rivals in a series of two Twenty20 Internationals and three One-Day Internationals from 25th December to 6th January.

The two sides have enjoyed some epic battles in the past, including at the World Cup 2011, the ICC World Twenty20 in 2007 and 2012 and greats such as Waqar Younis, Sachin Tendulkar and Wasim Akram have excelled during series of the past.

Younis Khan has been recalled for Pakistan although India are not at full strength with fast bowlers suffering injuries but it does give them a chance to bounce back from their 2-1 series loss to England earlier in December.

The series schedule is as follows:

25th December: 1st T20I, Bangalore
28th December: 2nd T20I, Ahmedabad
30th December: 1st ODI, Chennai
3rd January: 2nd ODI, Kolkata
6th January: 3rd ODI, Delhi
