Kolkata Knight Riders batsman Robin Uthappa's consistent form in the past seven days has earned him the Cricket World Player Of TheWeek award.
Uthappa has been a model of consistency since the Indian Premier League returned to India and thanks partly to his efforts, Kolkata are in fourth place in the table and in with a good chance of making the play-offs.
He began the week by scoring 80 in 52 balls against Mumbai, an innings that included nine fours and three sixes and helped set up a six-wicket win.
In Kolkata's other match this week against Hyderabad, he made an important 40 in 33 balls before being run out.
However, he had done enough to set a platform at the top of the order for his team-mates to come in and complete a seven-wicket win.
His run of form since returning from India has seen him register scores of 47, 65, 47, 46, and this week's efforts of 80 and 40.
Other contenders for this week's award included Yuvraj Singh, whose stunning performance of 69 in 28 balls helped Bangalore beat Delhi and Tillakaratne Dilshan, who hit an 18-ball half-century for the touring Sri Lankans against Sussex in a Twenty20 game.
