Following the end of the ICC World Twenty20 and ICC Women's World Twenty20, Cricket World has agreed with the ICC's judgment regarding the players of the tournament.
Indian batsman Virat Kohli and English fast bowler Anya Shrubsole are therefore named as joint Cricket World Players Of The Week.
Kohli finished the tournament with 319 runs to his name while Shrubsole was the leading wicket-taker in the women's competition with 12 scalps.
And Kohli starred in the final week with two half-centuries, one in the semi-final against South Africa and one in the final against Sri Lanka, although he ended up on the losing side.
He began the week by hitting 23 in 22 balls - the lowest score he managed all tournament - against Australia as India won their final group game by 73 runs.
Having been set 173 to win the semi-final against South Africa, Kohli accelerated following a steady start to score a brilliant 72 in 44 balls and get his side home with five balls to spare.
In the final, he hit 77 in 58 balls to help India post 130 for four, although on this occasion, it was not enough, and they were beaten by Sri Lanka.
After taking 10 wickets to help England reach the semi-finals, Shrubsole returned figures of two for 12 in the semi-final against South Africa, removing top-order players Lizelle Lee and Trisha Chetty cheaply as South Africa managed just 101 all out.
In the final, she took the wicket of Jess Jonassen before Australia cruised to a six-wicket win and a third title triumph.
