Interviews
Former England captain and Yorkshire batsman Michael Vaughan chats to us about England taking on New Zealand, England's chances in the Ashes later this year, the Champions Trophy 2013, Yorkshire's season and the emergence of Joe Root.
In this exclusive cricket video for Cricket World TV, courtesy of Red Bull's Red Bulletin, India, Delhi and Kolkata Knight Riders batsman Gautam Gambhir talks about his favourite cricket memories, including his part in the Twenty20 World Cup win in 2007 and the 2011 World Cup success, as well as his favourite films. He talks about his performances on the biggest stage and is also asked who his cricketing idols are and which other sporting legends he looks up to.
England are keen to lay down an early marker ahead of The Ashes by beating Australia in the first of several meetings over the next 10 months when the two sides meet in the ICC Champions Trophy at Edgbaston. England and Australia meet in the group stages of the final Champions Trophy on 8th June, one month ahead of the start of the Ashes and England's limited overs coach, Ashley Giles, believes striking an early blow on their rivals will be the perfect start to a huge summer of cricket.
A cricket video for Cricket World TV as we delve into our archives and bring you this interview from earlier in the summer with Andrew Flintoff. Retired from cricket since 2009, Flintoff has been granted a license to box professionally, and is set to make his debut in a fight against Richard Dawson on 30th November.
We ask Nick Compton for his thoughts on Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar. Compton is on tour in India and although he has spent plenty of admiring watching Tendulkar bat, he hopes that this time he won't be seeing too much of him.
A humble Nick Compton says he wouldn't even put mention himself in the same breath as esteemed grandfather Denis, in whose footsteps he is aiming to follow when he tours India with England later this month. In this cricket video he tells us his memories of the great man as well as how proud the family will be should he receive a Test cap in India.
