AUTHOR DETAILS

Ian Valentine is an author and journalist who has written on sport for GQ, Country Life and The Daily Telegraph. His previous books include Out for a Duck: A Celebration of Cricketing Calamity. A stodgy opening batsman and expensive leg-spinner, his playing style is at home on the village green. He lives by The Oval in London.
