Cricketers Prepare To Mount Everest For Twenty20

In April 2009, 50 people will head to Kathmandu in Nepal to make history when they play a cricket match at 5,165 metres above sea level on Mount Everest.

The match itself takes place on April 21st and will set a world record for the highest altitude game of competitive Twenty20 cricket.

At the launch of this unique event in London, Jim White, Cricket World TV, spoke with Chris Adams and Mark Butcher about the challenges ahead for the team, which is aiming to raise £250,000 for the Lord's Taverners and the Himalayan Trust UK.
