The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has handed Lancashire all-rounder Steven Croft three penalty points after he was found guilty of showing serious dissent.
He was charged with a level two breach of the ECB Code of Conduct and the penalty will remain on his record for a period of two years.
Accumulating nine or more points in a 12-month period will result in an automatic suspension.
Croft was reported by umpires Neil Mallender and George Sharp during the LV= County Championship Division One match against Yorkshire from 20th to 23rd July.
