West Indies batsman Darren Bravo will miss the fourth One-Day International against India after failing to recover from a hamstring problem.

He suffered the injury in the course of his innings in the third match - which his side went on to win by 16 runs - in Ahmedabad and was forced to retire hurt.

He had made 26 and as the West Indies look to level the series at 2-2 in Indore on 8th December, they will have to do it without the stylish left-hander.

"Darren Bravo is out for the next game," captain Darren Sammy confirmed. "Like we showed when Shiv (Shivnarine Chanderpaul) missed a Test in Mumbai, young (Kieran) Powell came in and took responsibility.

"Yes, we will miss Bravo in the line-up. But it gives an opportunity for someone else to come out and make a name for himself. Our team is definitely improving, when we miss guys, the guys come in and perform."

India won the first two matches of the series in Cuttack and Visakhapatnam by one wicket and five wickets respectively.
