The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed that the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier will be held from 9th to 13th February in the United Arab Emirates.
Afghanistan, Canada Ireland, Kenya, Netherlands, Scotland, UAE and the USA are the eight teams competing for two spots at the 2010 tournament in the Caribbean which begins in April.
17 matches will be played over five days at Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed Stadium and Dubai's Sports City while the winner of the tournament will join India and South Africa in Group C of the World Twenty20 and the runner-up will take their place alongside England and the West Indies in Group D.
Group A: Ireland, Scotland, Afghanistan, USA
Group B: Netherlands, Kenya, Canada, UAE
9th February: Ireland v Afghanistan, Netherlands v Kenya (Abu Dhabi); Scotland v USA, Canada v UAE (Dubai)
10th February: Canada v Kenya, UAE v Netherlands (Abu Dhabi); Afghanistan v Scotland, USA v Ireland (Dubai)
11th February: Afghanistan v USA, Ireland v Scotland (Abu Dhabi); Canada v UAE, Netherlands v Kenya (Dubai)
12th February: Two Super Four matches (A1 v B2, B1 v A2) in Dubai
13th February: Remaining Super Four matches (A1 v B1, B2 v A2) in Dubai and final
