Derbyshire CC To Open Seven Days Per Week

Derbyshire County Cricket Club has launched a major new initiative to improve customer service and become a seven days a week organisation.

Under the new system, the Club Shop, membership and ticket office will be open from 9am until 9pm on all weekdays and from 9am until 2pm at weekends, giving supporters all the opportunity they need to purchase their memberships and tickets as well as browsing the range of items available in the shop.

In addition the Club’s excellent website, www.derbyshireccc.com, offers 24/7 access to the full range of Club services.

A Derbyshire membership represents terrific value for supporters in 2008 with the adult price of £140 securing entry to all LV County Championship and NatWest Pro40 matches as well as the group stages of the Friends Provident Trophy and the Twenty20 Cup.

A Junior Membership, meanwhile, presents sensational value at the cost of just £15 while 16-20 year-olds can benefit from the young adult price of £60.

And for those who prefer to pick and choose their matches, buying tickets to watch the Phantoms in advance (£11 adults, £6 juniors) ensures a saving of £3 (£1 juniors) on the price of paying on the day.

The Club Shop – which is now situated on the Gateway Centre side of the ground, Grandstand Road, Derby, along with the ticket office – has the new range of 2008 replica shirts available for first-class, one-day and Twenty20 cricket as well as a new range of leisurewear.

Chief Executive Tom Sears commented: "We are always looking at ways of improving the service we offer and our website is now hailed as one of the best in cricket with full access to tickets, membership and merchandise.

"Now in addition to that we can offer a full seven days a week service throughout the year for people who want to call into the County Ground."
