Derbyshire lifted the Brian Aspital Trophy on Sunday 20th September at the Racecourse Ground at Derbyshire County Cricket Club in the ECB 50+ County Championship beating Cheshire by 10 wickets.

Derbyshire captain David Tee, won the toss and elected to field and their bowling dismissed the Cheshire side on the last ball of their allotted 45 overs for just 136.

Derbyshire openers Harry Cartwright (69*) and Ray McGuinness (61*) took their side to a resounding ten wicket win in only 32.3 overs.

The Man of the Match award went to David Tee, the Derbyshire skipper, for his bowling performance of 6-32.

Keith Loring, the Chief Executive of Derbyshire CCC, David Skipworth, Derbyshire CCC Committee and George Hornbuckle, Nottinghamshire Cricket Board presented the trophies.
