East Midlands Demolition Ltd has boosted Derbyshire with a major sponsorship package which has already changed the face of the County Ground for the better.
The sponsorship deal worth £30,000 has seen the Little Eaton based company carry out the demolition of the old jockey quarters as well as making improvements to the ground entrance on the Days Hotel side of the ground.
Derbyshire Chief Executive Keith Loring commented: “This deal has made a brace of much needed developments for Derbyshire County Cricket Club possible.
“The demolition of the old jockey quarters meant that we could take a badly decaying building out of the equation and, in doing so, give us an idea of the footprint on that side of the ground with future development very much in mind.
“The improvements to the ground entrance are also very important to the image of the ground and with East Midlands Demolition gaining some premium branding at the County Ground, the deal is excellent for both sides.”
East Midlands Demolition Managing Director Peter Siddall said: “We are pleased to be involved and are looking forward to a great 2009 season.”
