Derbyshire Step In to Save Televised Fixture

Friday’s Worcestershire Royals versus Hampshire Hawkes NatWest Pro40 match will be played at The County Ground, Derby, with a 3.40pm start.

The match, which will be televised on Sky Sports, has been relocated due to the continued problems with the playing surface at New Road following recent flooding.

Entry is free to all members of both Worcestershire CCC and Derbyshire CCC and people who had purchased tickets in advance will still be able to use them despite the change in venue. Worcestershire’s Twenty20 Season Ticket holders will also be permitted entry.

Prices on the gate are £10 for adults and £5 for children in what is an opportunity for the Derbyshire public to see international players, such as Vikram Solanki, Graeme Hick, Phil Jacques, John Crawley and of course the great Shane Warne, in action.
