Mahendra Singh Dhoni will play no further part in the One-Day International tri-series in the West Indies after suffering a hamstring injury in his side's opening match.
He was unable to take the field after picking up the injury while batting and India went on to lose a thrilling match by one wicket as West Indies took their second win in as many matches.
Dinesh Karthik took over the gloves and is expected to do the same for India's remaining matches, which Virat Kohli will lead.
Batsman and occasional wicket-keeper Ambati Rayudu has been added to the full squad.
It is the second change to the squad after Irfan Pathan was ruled out through injury and replaced by Mohammad Shami prior to India's departure.
The reigning World Cup and Champions Trophy champions are next in action tomorrow (2nd July) when they play Sri Lanka.
