Brendon Diamanti and Peter Fulton will stay in Australia as cover after Kyle Mills and Ross Taylor picked up injuries during the fifth and final One Day International in Brisbane.

Mills was unable to bowl his full quota of overs after he damaged his right Achilles tendon and he will return home tomorrow while Taylor has a tight hamstring and will remain with the squad and the management hopes he will be fit to play in the Twenty20 International in Sydney on Sunday.

Fulton showed flashes of good form when he hit two sixes in his quick innings of 22 in Brisbane which saw New Zealand chaing 156 in 20 overs. However, Australia retained the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy after the Brisbane game was abandoned due to heavy rain.
