Doncaster Town gained their first win of the season at the expense of Sheffield United in a match reduced to 48 overs because of rain.
Doncaster were bowled out for 162 with off spinning brothers Paul (4-56) and Mark Cummins (4-31) each taking four wickets.
Paul Cummins then opened the United innings, making 66, but his efforts were not enough to bring victory for his team, who finished 26 runs short of their target on 136 for nine with their last pair at the wicket.
Rotherham gained their eighth successive league and cup win, beating visitors Appleby Frodingham by eight wickets.
Spinner Oliver Jackson took six for 34 as Frodingham were bowled out for 125, of which opener Duncan Heath made a defiant 84. Former Yorkshire wicket keeper Simon Guy then led Rotherham to a comfortable victory with an unbeaten 50 while captain James Moorhouse made 42.
Harrogate remain unbeaten after beating Driffield by 48 runs in a rain affected game. David Orange (59) and Grant McCarthy (51) both scored half centuries as Harrogate reached 164 for seven in their 31 overs, NIck Hardgrave taking four for 35. Driffield replied with 116 for eight with Vic Craven taking four for 42.
Yorkshire Academy and Barnsley took three points each from an incomplete match at Headingley. Barnsley reached 215 for eight in 55 overs with Simon Widdup (73) and Steve Nuttall (45) sharing a second wicket partnership of 113. The Academy replied with 209 for eight in 51 overs with captain Jack Leaning top scoring with 55 while Barnsley skipper Richard Wilkinson took five for 69 with his off spinners.
The match between Cleethorpes and Castleford was abandoned because of rain with Cleethorpes on 28 for one in reply to Castleford’s total of 253 for eight. There was no play in the match between Hull and York and Sheffield Collegiate and Scarborough.
