South African batsmen JP Duminy and Faf du Plessis are both on track with their respective rehabilitation programmes from achilles tendon and back injuries.
Duminy underwent surgery five months ago and is still on target to return to action in late May while du Plessis could be available for Chennai Super Kings as early as next week.
"JP is five and half months post-op and has started sprinting at up to 80 percent of maximum. At present he is batting without restriction with the help of Gary (Kirsten) in the nets, and should be able to start bowling unrestricted within the next week.
"We are exercising extreme caution because of the sensitive nature of the injury but we remain cautiously optimistic of his speedy return to action."
