Durham Announce Unchanged Squad For Big Weekend

Durham County Cricket Club’s Head Coach Geoff Cook has named a 12 man squad to contest the two NatWest Pro40 games at the Riverside this weekend (Sunday 26 and Monday 27 August).

Cook has kept faith with the squad that lost by 31 runs to Somerset Sabres at Taunton on Thursday, as the Dynamos hope to get their promotion push back on track following two consecutive defeats in the competition.

Cook said, “This division is extremely tight at the moment, with five teams in the promotion hunt. If we win both these games we will be in with a fighting chance of promotion.”

The match against Leicestershire Foxes on Sunday is Paul Collingwood’s benefit game, with a series of activities taking place to raise money fro the England One Day captain.
