Durham Name Squad For Friends Provident Trophy
Geoff Cook has named a 14 man squad for the Friends Provident Trophy final at Lord’s tomorrow (Saturday 18 August).
Cook has kept faith with the team that played the last NatWest Pro40 game away at Kent Spitfires, with the exception of Stephen Harmison who misses the final with a back injury. Added to the ten are spin bowler Paul Wiseman, quick bowler Graham Onions and batsman Gordon Muchall and Kyle Coetzer. The final 11 is not expected to be named until Saturday morning.
For Durham fans without tickets to Lord’s, Austin’s Bar at the Riverside will be showing the game on a big screen from 10.30 and there will be a barbeque, face painters and a bouncy castle to keep younger fans entertained.
Dale Benkenstein (44) (c), Gareth Breese (70), Shivnarine Chanderpaul (3), Kyle Coetzer (30), Paul Collingwood (5), Michal Di Venuto (23), Ottis Gibson (16), Neil Killeen (77), Gordon Muchall (24), Phil Mustard (19) (wk), Graham Onions (9), Garry Park (6), Liam Plunkett (20), Paul Wiseman (8)
