Durham Team News Ahead Of Lancashire Match

Durham County Cricket Club Head Coach Geoff Cook has named the team that will face Lancashire at the Riverside in this week’s LV County Championship match which starts tomorrow (Wednesday 6 June).

Phil Mustard will be looking to increase his lead as the division’s leading wicket keeper with 28 catches to his name. Michael Di Venuto and Dale Benkenstein are two of only three players to score five fifties, the other being Surrey’s Mark Ramprakash.

Stephen Harmison, Paul Collingwood and Liam Plunkett are all away on international duty. Callum Thorp (back) is still out of action.

Lancashire are set to field a team that includes former Durham star Brad Hodge and spin bowler Muttiah Muralitharan.
