Champions League Twenty20, Chennai
Scorecard

Dwayne Bravo inspired the Chennai Super Kings to a four-wicket win over the Cape Cobras in front of their home crowd to get their Champions League Twenty20 campaign back on track.

The West Indian all-rounder took two for 23 and then scored an unbeaten 46 in 25 balls as first the Cobras were restricted to 145 for seven before the reigning champions got home with two balls to spare.

Englishman Owais Shah top scored for Cobras with 45 in 38 balls while JP Duminy (29), Herschelle Gibbs (18) and Dane Vilas (18) also contributed before Bravo, Albie Morkel and Doug Bollinger took a brace of wickets apiece.

Chennai's impressive batting line-up was then rocked by the off-spin of Duminy, who dismissed Michael Hussey (29), Suresh Raina (20), Subramaniam Badrinath (2) and Wriddhiman Saha (6) to return figures of four for 20.

However, the Super Kings boast serious strength in depth, Bravo coming in at number seven to hit three fours and two sixes and Morkel at eight, who was unbeaten on six to guide the home side to a win that they needed after losing their opening game to the Mumbai Indians.
