Ealing chipped another 10 points out of Hampstead's lead at the top of the 2013 Middlesex ECB Premier League with a 147-run win over Stanmore.
Coupled with Hampstead's two-wicket defeat to Twickenham, the gap is back down to eight points with Hampstead on 89 and Ealing on 81.
Twickenham's victory leaves them in third place with 63 points, ahead of Teddington (59), Richmond (56), Stanmore (54) and Hornsey (53).
In Division Two, Brondesbury (68 points) took four points out of North Middlesex's lead (82 points) as they drew with Shepherd's Bush and Harrow beat North Middlesex by 17 runs.
Just three points separate Enfield (78) and Kenton (75) at the top of Division Three after Enfield beat Edmonton by five wickets and Kenton slipped up, losing to South Hampstead by six wickets to relinquish top spot.
