Since September 2007, the ECB's Coach Education Programme has been managed and delivered by five Regional Training Managers across the UK.  Cookie Patel is one of them and he tells Jim White and Cricket World's audience more about his role and that of the coach education programme's objectives.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have confirmed that a disciplinary hearing into alleged corruption by Mervyn Westfield and Danish Kaneria has been adjourned. The hearing will now be held on 18th June following a request from Kaneria's lawyers.
Former Pakistan international Danish Kaneria and jailed former Essex fast bowler Mervyn Westfield have both been charged with corruption by the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB). Gerard Elias, Chairman of the ECB's Cricket Discipline Committee will chair a hearing, relating to the charges which led to Westfield being jailed for four months in February.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have confirmed that Peter Wright has been re-elected unopposed to the ECB Board. The Nottinghamshire chairman will serve for a further three-year term having been nominated by Yorkshire and seconded by both Middlesex and Warwickshire.
The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed that Giles Clarke has been re-elected as chairman following election. Clarke has been returned for a third term by the 41 members of the ECB, which comprises the 18 first-class counties, the 21 county boards, the MCC and the Minor Counties Cricket Association.
The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Board has approved the principles of the recent Morgan review into domestic cricket in England and Wales. The review proposes that from 2014 onwards the county season will see two fewer Championship games and four more Twenty20 matches compared to those scheduled for 2012.
The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced a major new £400,000 initiative with Build Center which will benefit hundreds of cricket clubs nationwide participating in the award-winning NatWest CricketForce initiative. The project requires each participating club to make an initial payment of £100 from their own funds to activate a Privilege Account.
