	Edgbaston Secures Ticketmaster Partnership

Edgbaston Stadium has today announced a partnership with Ticketmaster, which is designed to enhance services for Warwickshire County Cricket Club Members and to improve the ticketing experience for those attending England Matches at the legendary venue.

The partnership will see Ticketmaster operate a 24-hour Membership and Ticket Hotline (0844 847 1902) for customer telephone transactions, whilst it will also offer a new 'Print at Home' facility to give customers attending England and Warwickshire fixtures the opportunity to obtain their tickets immediately.

Colin Povey, Chief Executive of Edgbaston Stadium, said: "We're constantly looking at new ways to improve the customer journey for Warwickshire Members and those that attend our international fixtures. And with a busy summer ahead, including England playing here in all three forms of the game, this partnership comes at a perfect time.

"Ticketmaster's market leading expertise and marketing reach has assisted us in achieving our financial goals in recent seasons. Its increased involvement through the provision of a dedicated Warwickshire CCC management team will assist us in creating easy access to our ticketing and membership products. The additional support will complement our own on-site services and ensure we improve our customer experience particularly at times of peak demand."

The last 12 months have been a very exciting period for Edgbaston after completing its £32 million redevelopment of its Pavilion Stand. Following this, it was awarded 31 days of Major Match cricket over the next five years.

This summer Edgbaston hosts the third Investec Test Match between England and the West Indies (Thursday 7 to Monday 11 June), a day/night NatWest Series ODI against Australia (Wednesday 4 July) and a floodlit NatWest Series t20 International against South Africa (Wednesday 12 September).

Chris Edmonds, Managing Director at Ticketmaster UK, said: "We have been working closely with Warwickshire County Cricket Club for many years now and we are very pleased to be extending this relationship further.

"At the heart of our innovative services is the ability to offer a wide range of ticketing and marketing solutions to help support their ticketing activity."

Ticketmaster proudly lists amongst its clients some of the world’s greatest sporting organisations, hosting the most prestigious events in sport. For many of these clients, Ticketmaster provides marketing support, database management and many other tools.
