Captain Charlotte Edwards hit 78 from the to order to set up a 51-run win for England Women over South Africa Women in their 2013 World Cup warm-up match in Mumbai.
Although no other player could reach a half-century, England's 270 for nine proved to be beyond South Africa, for whom Trisha Chetty (57) and Mignon du Preez (64 not out) top scored.

Edwards faced 94 balls and hit nine fours as she held England's innings together after Shabnim Ismail removed Tamsin Beaumont for nought early on.
Sarah Taylor (20) and Lydia Greenway (35) supported Edwards before both fell to Yolandi Potgieter and Sunette Loubser bowle Edwards before having Arran Brindle caught and bowled for eight.
Danielle Wyatt (22), Heather Knight (42) and Katherine Brunt (17 not out) then added important runs to push England up to an excellent score.
South Africa lost Shandre Fritz early as Danielle Hazell struck but through Chetty (57 in 88 balls), Sarannats Cordes (33 in 70) and then du Preez (64 in 66), managed to give England a scare before Brindle and Holly Colvin broke through.
Marizanne Kapp was run out for nine and Cri-Zelda Brits trapped inf front by Colvin without scoring, leaving du Preez too much to do with the lower order for company.
Susan Benade made a valiant 23 and Dane van Niekerk was unbeaten on 12 as the South Africans ended up well beaten.
Reigning champions England, for whom Colvin picked up two for 29, take on New Zealand in their next warm-up tomorrow (29th January) when South Africa take on Sri Lanka.
