Kevin Pietersen Reprimanded For Dissent

England batsman Kevin Pietersen has been reprimanded by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for showing dissent during his side's Twenty20 International against India in Kolkata. Pietersen set up England's six-wicket win with an innings of 53 in 39 balls but has been reprimanded for his reaction to being given out leg before wicket to Suresh Raina.

England End India Tour On Winning Note

England ended their dismal tour of India on a winning note by clinching a six-wicket win in the one-off Twenty20 International at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Kevin Pietersen defied a fractured thumb to score a fine half-century as England overcame India's score of 120 for nine with eight balls to spare.

India Spin England Out To Seal 5-0 Whitewash

India's spinners instigated a staggering collapse that handed them a 95-run win over England in the fifth One-Day International in Kolkata. In front of a record low crowd for an Indian home match at Eden Gardens, Ravi Jadeja took four wickets and Ravi Ashwin three as England careered from 129 without loss to 176 all out in reply to 271 for eight as India scored a 5-0 series win.

Pietersen Suffers Thumb Fracture

England batsman Kevin Pietersen has suffered a fractured thumb and misses the fifth and final One-Day International in Kolkata. He picked up the injury when he was hit while fielding in the fourth game in Mumbai but he will remain with the squad ahead of the Twenty20 International on 29th October.

Kohli And Raina Put India 4-0 Up Over England

A ground-record fourth-wicket Indian partnership of 131 between Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina condemned England to a six-wicket defeat in the fourth One-Day International in Mumbai. Kohli hit an unbeaten 86 and Suresh Raina a belligerent 80 as the home side moved into a 4-0 lead in the series by overhauling a target of 221 in 40.1 overs.
