England Invite Australia To Bat At Lord's
England v Australia
Second One-Day International, Lord's
England made two changes to their line-up before asking Australia to bat first in the second One-Day International at Lord's.
Trailing 1-0 in the seven-match series after going down by four runs in Friday's opener at The Oval, England strengthened their batting with the inclusion of Eoin Morgan at the expense of leg-spinner Adil Rashid while all-rounder Tim Bresnan replaced Stuart Broad, who has a slight injury. Opener Joe Denly remains unavailable with the knee injury he picked up prior to the opening match.
Broad has a neck strain and will be further assessed ahead of the third game while under overcast conditions, England opted for Graeme Swann in an attack that will rely on one spinner despite Adil Rashid's fine effort with both bat and ball on Friday.
Australia went in with an unchanged side and after winning the toss for the second match in a row, Andrew Strauss asked Australia to set a target.
England: Andrew Strauss (captain), Ravi Bopara, Matthew Prior, Owais Shah, Paul Collingwood, Eoin Morgan, Luke Wright, Graeme Swann, Tim Bresnan, James Anderson, Ryan Sidebottom
Australia: Shane Watson, Tim Paine, Cameron White, Michael Clarke (captain), Callum Ferguson, Michael Hussey, James Hopes, Mitchell Johnson, Brett Lee, Nathan Hauritz, Nathan Bracken
