England have made one change to their squad ahead of the third Test against the West Indies at Edgbaston, leaving out fast bowler James Anderson.

Anderson has a minor thigh muscle injury leaving Steven Finn and Graham Onions to battle for his place in the side as England chase a third straight win.

Following wins by five and nine wickets at Lord's and Trent Bridge respectively, no other changes have been made to the squad ahead of the game, which begins on 7th June.

"We have been made to work hard for our two victories so far and are delighted to have secured the series, however we know that we will need to continue to play some good cricket if we want a third win against the West Indies this week," National Selector Geoff Miller said.
"James Anderson will miss this Investec Test as we look to manage his workload ahead of a busy period of cricket this summer and beyond, a decision which is in the best interests of the team and James himself."

England Test squad: Andrew Strauss (captain), Jonathan Bairstow, Ian Bell, Tim Bresnan, Stuart Broad, Alastair Cook, Steven Finn, Graham Onions, Kevin Pietersen, Matthew Prior, Graeme Swann, Jonathan Trott
