England took to the field on the final day of the second and final Test against the West Indies at The Riverside missing two key fielders in Matthew Prior and Ravi Bopara.

Wicket-keeper Prior took a blow to the ring finger on his right hand yesterday and although an x-ray revealed there was no break, he has not resumed his duties, Paul Collingwood continuing behind the stumps.

Ravi Bopara was hit on the knee by a ball driven by Brendan Nash and although he stayed on the pitch yesterday, he did not emerge today.

Bopara said at the post-match presentation that his knee would not prevent him taking his place in the One Day International squad.

England went on to win the match by an innings and 83 runs to regain the Wisden Trophy having lost it earlier this year in the Caribbean.
